According to the recent research, studies suggest that in 100 years most of NYC will suffer flooding due to constant water level rise. The project focuses on Mott Haven, BX, an under developed part of the city, that has been treated poorly urbanisticly, and socio-politically.

After helding a research about the typology of the site, the results showed that the buildings on the site are located closely to eachother, as well as having large area roofs, that could be used as the framework of the approach.

The goal is to design an approach that provides protection from the water level rise, as well as creating sustainable systems that would help the city develop financially and socially, using the roofs of the existing industrial buildings as the niche, and creating a continuous urban fondamenta that would bridge through the city, creating spaces for program.
